Yes, tuition with HBarker Tutoring is online only. Tuition takes place on an online platform where tutor and student can collaborate effectively. 

HBarker Tutoring provides tutoring throughout the whole year. Tutoring will take place on the same day and time as your term time sessions. However, should these not be feasible then tuition times and days can be changed during the school holidays, to slots that suit your plans. Please speak with a tutor about this.

Homework is entirely optional. If you would like homework set then please talk to your tutor. If you do not wish for homework to be set then make your tutor aware of this. 

Lesson Access links will be sent out via email or WhatsApp prior to the lesson. 
Your lesson will be at the same time and on the same day every week - unless changed due to circumstances. 

If you decide to proceed, we will have a parent-tutor consultation during which I will solicit your opinions on your child's educational progress as well as any suggestions you may have for the topics and areas you would like addressed. I'll complete an assessment during the first session, that I've chosen based on your child's present-year group and learning standards. Together, the pupil and I will go over the assessment so that I can pinpoint any areas that have the need for advancement or additional instruction.
We will progress through the subject areas in each session at a pace that is suitable for your child and their learning needs. The original assessment will be used again after all subject areas have been covered, and I'll determine whether to advance your child to the next level or identify any additional areas in which they might need to improve.

At the conclusion of each session, parents receive feedback, and homework for their child (If desirable). Parents will also receive a "Learning Assessment Report," once a term, which contains more information about their child's holistic progression throughout their previous tuition sessions.

The Learning Assessment Report will also include statistics on where your child is at, list upcoming topics and highlight a specific target area.
